TRAVEL AND ARRIVAL
FLYING
You will receive your travel documents by e-mail – please make sure to check comprehensively your flight reservation for check-in instructions and timing.
Our shuttle driver will be waiting for you Rome Fiumicino airport. We will communicate you the exact time that your shuttle will leave based on your flight’s arrival time.
DRIVING
Tenuta Il Cicalino is just outside the town of Massa Marittima (GR), Toscana, Italy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
COMMUNICATION DURING THE EVENT
We will create a Whatsapp group chat for all attending media and BCA staff to use during the event. Please make sure you have Whatsapp installed on your phone, and only use the group chat for important issues.
RIDING GEAR
Please remember to bring all your riding gear, including helmet, shoes and pedals. Attending companies will have samples for you to test during the event, but please plan on being self-sufficient. We also recommend a good jacket and warm riding gear as it’s February and the weather can get quite cold.
PHOTO/VIDEO
We will provide two full-time photographers during the event who will shoot all products and be on the trails during the riding time. If you have any specific needs please communicate them promptly to one of the photographers or a Bike Connection Agency staff member. Our videomakers will be posted on the trails (Short loop) during the day to capture action footage. They are also available to film additional footage (products, introductions, etc.) to provide you with all raw footage needed to then edit your own videos from the event. As with the photographers, please be proactive in communicating any specific necessity to them in due time.
You are also welcome to bring your own photo/video equipment to cover your needs.
MEETING SCHEDULE AND LOCATIONS
Prior to the event you’ll receive your full schedule of meetings for the week. We ask you to please respect the schedule in order to keep the event running smoothly for the benefit of everybody involved.

If you need additional time with a company please make the necessary arrangements during the test riding time or before/after dinner.
TRAIL ROUTING AND NAVIGATION
Komoot is the official routing and navigation partner of Mountain Bike Connection Winter 2025. All the trails that will be used during the event will be available on the Bike Connection Agency page on Komoot, and we’ll be providing a code to unlock the proper region to use the app (available for iOs, Android, Garmin and Wahoo devices) for off-line, turn-by-turn navigation on the trails.

TEST RIDING, UPLIFT AND PHOTO/VIDEO SCHEDULE
Test riding schedule:
Tuesday Feb. 25th and Wednesday Feb. 26th from from 12:30 to 5:30pm
Thursday Feb. 27th from 11:30am to 5:30pm (last shuttle up at 5:00pm)
A shuttle service will be running from the demo area to the top of the trails every day from the beginning of the riding time to 5:00pm.
The Bike Service hut at the top of trails will offer water, coffee, Matt energy products and snacks throughout the test riding time.
Our media crew will be available on the trails Tuesday and Wednesday from from 1:00pm to 5:30pm, Thursday from 12:00pm to 5:30pm
IMPORTANT: the media crew will share its position on the WhatsApp group, they will be stationed around the top of the trails and concentrate on shooting photos and videos on the upper part of the hill to be within reach of everyone.
If you need specific photos or footage, please make sure to engage proactively with the media crew, just the fact you have ridden past them doesn’t always mean they got the shot!
Photos will be uploaded daily on the BCA Dropbox.
Please work directly with the video guys for delivery of footage – either via USB stick or upload to Dropbox.
